Transformable Stair|Jiayuan Xu(Jeff)

My project is a transformable stair that hides in the wall. There is a handrail on the outside that can put the stair out when someone wants to use it. The principle of my stair movement is about rotation and sliding. For the rotation, there are two connections on each step, which are the connection between two boards in the middle and the connection with the handrail. For the sliding part, there is one round sliding ball at the end of each board, so It will follow the track in the wall and accomplish the entire movement.

    – renders are very nice and clear
    – the GIF helps understand the movement of the transformation
    – consider showing how the stairs will be closed
    – improve the “2D drawing of one step” to clearly show the movement; is it a section/plan?; what does that diagonal line mean?
    – add lines to some of your renders (particularly the first GIF) to provide more information
    – show the curved sliding rail in the wall
    – add a human figure to scale and show the context of how the stairs will be used; the connection to the second floor?
    – add a description for some of the images and the hardware used
    – how does the stair lock when someone is using it?
